Our Story

Dianna was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 26. She fought her battle quietly and gracefully for eight years. She never wanted to be treated or looked at differently. Dianna silently supported others who were struggling. She had the unique ability to make those she encountered feel special. Dianna always saw the best in others, and was mindful of what they may be going through in life.

Dianna was fortunate enough to live her life the way she wanted to because of the support she had. She did not allow the disease to dictate her or the way she lived her life. Dianna was strong in her faith and her beliefs. She believed in the simple human right to have the freedom to live the way you want to live. She believed in the right to privacy, and the right to share your situation when you are ready to and only if you wanted to. Dianna was lucky enough to keep her diagnosis personal to herself and those she wanted to tell. Many people were unaware of her battle with breast cancer, and that is exactly how she wanted to live her life.

Although she lived a short life of 35 years, her impact on the world was remarkable. She enjoyed every moment of life, even the extremely difficult ones. She lived life to the fullest having faith in God at all times. She was an extremely generous, kind and loving person who quietly helped others. For those reasons and in her honor this Foundation will strive to do the things that will give other women the opportunity to feel the same way. To give them the ability to live life the way Dianna did.
